About Belynda Moore Dressage Unlimited
Belynda Moore began her classical dressage journey over 25 years ago at Summervale Farm. As the longtime assistant trainer to 2021 and 2024 Olympic‑short‑listed Jennifer Williams, she honed her skill in applying classical French dressage principles, building a deep understanding of harmony, lightness, and biomechanics that honor the horse’s natural movement
Since 2017, Belynda has continued her evolution under Olympian Christophe Theallet and through elite symposiums with Cindy Ishoy (“Systematic Dressage Training”) and USDF Hall‑of‑Fame judge Alex Steiner (“Dressage thru the Levels”). She’s also shared her knowledge via symposiums and master classes alongside her homebred Appaloosa–Warmblood, enriching the dressage community with authentic classical training.
Breeding and training her horse from green to Grand Prix, Belynda knows firsthand how to develop nontraditional mounts to perform alongside top-quality Warmbloods. As an FEI‑certified trainer, she specializes in classical French dressage, teaching clear, progressive techniques that cultivate true partnership and harmony between horse and rider.
For over 20 years, Belynda has designed a dedicated retracing foundation program for challenging or nervous horses. By blending classical principles with natural horsemanship, she uses quiet finesse to encourage independent thinking and self-soothing. This transforms hot or spooky horses into reliable partners and awakens dull, unresponsive horses, always prioritizing confidence, safety, and classical harmony both on the ground and under saddle.
At Dressage Unlimited, we honor the classical French tradition of training with harmony and respect. Inspired by early masters like François Robichon de La Guérinière—who championed the shoulder-in, light contact, and balanced rider position—our approach emphasizes clarity, progressive gymnastic development, and lasting well-being for the horse.

Having overcome several major injuries herself, Belynda is uniquely equipped to help students who face similar challenges. She knows how to use the body to compensate for injuries that might otherwise make riding difficult, ensuring that every rider can achieve their goals.
